This really is a sweet story that just warms your heart. The characters all have such deep background and the more you delve in the more you understand. It’s about pain, loss, loneliness but also love and acceptance. I think it may have even resonated with me on a profound level, kind of being one of the earlier things that changed my perspective of life really.
Whether the anime or manga, you can’t go wrong with this series. It was my first anime and my first manga, and I can’t be happier about it. I would absolutely recommend this classic to really anyone. Personally, I don’t think you could go wrong in checking it out.
